2020 has certainly been a year to reflect, to reset and to be thankful! One that no one could have predicted, one that certainly has not gone to plan, and one that we will always remember.

This festive season we are celebrating the light, golden light, which mother nature offers us when we need it most. Light in the form of the opening of our borders, to you and a successful vaccine for the future and light in the form of hope for a bright 2021!

After an 8 month national lockdown, Africa finally opened its international borders and is ready to welcome guests from all over the world.

This is incredibly exciting for us as you can come back home to Africa and experience the magic she offers as well as interacting with animals and nature that have the ability to rewire our brains with healing and restoring of our body, mind and souls.

The 1st of December brought great excitement to the travel industry in Botswana as the luxurious Xigera Safari Lodge opened its doors after 39 months of designing and building in the African wilderness. A culmination of a life-long dream for the Tollman family will bring Red Carnation’s generous hospitality, personal service and exceptional design aesthetic to Botswana for the first time, drawing on six decades of devotion to unparalleled luxury in service. Bravo Botswana!

For those travellers longing for an authentic African safari, think no further than Singita’s recently refurbished Sabora Tented Camp. Nestled on the edge of the iconic Serengeti in Tanzania, this camp is enveloped in unrivalled levels of comfort and charts a visionary new course for luxury adventures under canvas.

We look forward to hosting you back on African soil in the near future for a fun-filled African luxury adventure.

Stay safe and wishing you a light-filled festive season,

Warm Regards
Bruce
